Anti-Fraud & Content Policy
Last updated: September 20, 2026
1. Purpose
This Anti-Fraud & Content Policy protects artists, rights holders, digital service providers (“DSPs”), and UnreleasedAudio. Violations may result in content removal, royalty holds, account suspension, permanent termination, and reporting to DSPs or authorities.
2. Prohibited content
You may not distribute content that:
- Infringes copyright, trademark, publicity, or other intellectual property rights
- Uses unauthorized samples, beats, stems, or recordings without clearance
- Impersonates another artist, label, or rights holder (including “fake” releases or misleading metadata)
- Contains hate speech, credible threats, harassment, or illegal material under applicable law
- Includes sexually exploitative content involving minors, or extreme violence prohibited by DSPs
- Mislabels explicit content, genre, language, or territorial rights
- Consists primarily of non-musical audio (e.g., silence, loops, noise) designed to game royalties
- Violates DSP-specific rules (artificial tracks, public domain spam, trademark misuse)
3. Metadata integrity
All metadata must be accurate: primary artist, featured artists, title, version, label, composer/publisher information, and release dates. Keyword stuffing, hidden tracks used to manipulate search, or duplicate uploads of the same recording under false identities are prohibited.
4. Artificial streaming & royalty fraud
The following are strictly forbidden:
- Purchasing, botting, or incentivizing streams, saves, or playlist placements to inflate royalties
- Using click farms, stream farms, or third-party “promotion” services that guarantee plays
- Creating multiple accounts or releases to circumvent limits, splits, or enforcement actions
- Manipulating chart reporting, fingerprinting, or fraud-detection systems
- Money laundering or using the payout system for non-music-related transfers
We and DSPs analyze consumption patterns. Abnormal spikes, low listener-to-stream ratios, geographic anomalies, or repeated takedown history may trigger review and withholding of royalties.
5. Rights & licensing documentation
We may request licenses, split agreements, sample clearances, or proof of ownership at any time. Failure to provide adequate documentation within the stated deadline may result in takedown or account action.
6. Complaints & repeat infringement
Rights holders may report infringement via hello@unreleasedaudio.com with sufficient detail to locate the content. We respond to valid DMCA and equivalent notices and may terminate repeat infringers.
7. Enforcement
Depending on severity, we may:
- Reject or remove releases before or after delivery
- Place royalties on hold pending investigation
- Reverse or claw back fraudulent royalties where permitted
- Suspend API access, white-label instances, or entire accounts
- Share evidence with DSPs, payment processors, and law enforcement
Decisions are made in our reasonable discretion to protect the ecosystem. You may appeal by contacting hello@unreleasedaudio.com with supporting evidence.
8. Cooperation with DSPs
DSPs may independently penalize accounts for policy violations, including permanent store bans. UnreleasedAudio is not liable for DSP actions taken on your content or catalog.
9. Updates
We may update this Policy as fraud tactics and DSP rules evolve. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance.
